Central St Croix Rec provides a recreational flag football program for boys and girls who are in 1st through 6th grade.  Participants will have an opportunity to learn fundamentals of the game in a fun, positive and supportive environment with a small-sided game format.  This results in more action, more ball contact, more involvement and more fun.

The season typically runs from Mid-August to early October.

SATURDAYS are all grades (1st-6th) at the high school.

3rd-6th grade ALSO have TUESDAY nights at the high school during the season.

For 1st and 2nd graders we will focus on the basic skills of catching, throwing, handing off and running with the football.  We will use basic drills to teach these fundamentals and then practice these skills playing a game called “Panther Ball". Panther Ball is a lot like ultimate frizbee, players can hand off or pass to a teammate. The player is allowed to run until touched down by a defender, at that point the player must get the ball to another player. The ball will go to the defense when the ball touches the ground or is intercepted by the other team.

• Participants are in 1st-6th grade for the 2024/2025 school year
• Registration Fees for 2024 will be $30 for 1st and 2nd graders
• Registration Fees for 2024 will be $60 for 3rd-6th graders.
• Online registration begins May 31st
• Deadline for registering is June 15th
• Late registrations will be added to teams as space allows - no late fee will be charged
• A jersey is included with registration fee

• Aug 20th, 2024 - First Tuesday for grades 3-6
• Sep 13th, 2024 - Youth Night at Varsity game
• Sep 14th, 2024 - MOM'S DAY!!
• Oct 12th, 2024 - LAST day for grades 1-6
