T-Ball (4K/K) Boys/Girls

T-ball is for boys and girls currently in 4K and Kindergarten. T-Ball is an introductory program to Baseball/Softball which focuses on basic skill development, fundamentals, and having fun. Players will get an opportunity to practice fundamentals as well as experience/learn game-like situations.  Kids will focus on hitting the ball off of the tee as well as fielding different positions.  Please visit the T-Ball tab on the menu for more information.

Machine Pitch (1st & 2nd Grade)

Machine pitch softball is for girls currently enrolled in 1st or 2nd grade where the ball is thrown via machine for a safer, more consistent pitch. The goal of the program is to provide an enjoyable, positive environment in which participants learn the fundamentals of softball. Success should be measured by the improvements in each player's skills and knowledge of softball.

Softball (3rd-12th grade)

The Central St. Croix Rec Program offers an opportunity to play in a traveling league for girls in 3rd through 12th grade.

Teams will be determined through assessments in early Spring. Teams will be entered in the Tri-County League which is part of MN Softball.  If enough players and coaches are available, consideration will be given to entering teams in the Glenwood City Recreational League.
